Join us at Copenhagen Atomics as we finish building a functioning thorium molten salt reactor.
Copenhagen Atomics has invented a new form of nuclear reactor, which is significantly more efficient than any previous nuclear reactors. This will be a game changer for the global energy sector. Our reactors will be able to provide energy at lower cost than any other technology (including fusion).
As a company, we value curiosity, flexibility, being self-driven, yet able to collaborate, and the possibility to grow as a person and professional.
Department:
Copenhagen Atomics is looking to recruit several hands-on Engineers for various departments, including our pumped molten salt systems and lithium separation team and our fuel salt production team. In our workshop, you will be developing our sub-systems, which involves everything from furnaces, water cooling, freezers, ventilation and control systems. Most importantly is that you can think independently, out of the box, and that you possess extraordinary hands-on skills.
You’ll play an important role in:
- Improving and repairing machines and equipment
- Working hands-on with various tools
- Keep developing and re-thinking our ways of working
- Collaborating with a world-class team on molten salt technology
To succeed in the role, you:
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering or a related field, with 0-5 years of relevant experience.
- Have solid practical experience from work or private projects is a plus
- Have ideally experience from a similar environment, where testing and a hands-on approach have been an integral part of your job
- Are willing to develop yourself as a professional as other projects and areas of expertise will be required as Copenhagen Atomics grows
